A Pivotal Moment

In February, 27 high school seniors in our advanced training programs will head to Chicago to join some of the most talented theatre students from across the country for National Unified Auditions. With the guidance of our amazing staff, our students will participate in comprehensive in-person auditions for multiple colleges over the course of a week. For most of them, this will be the final step in their college audition process, and a pivotal moment in reaching their goal to be professional performers.

What does it take to make it?

While at Moonifieds college auditions in Dallas last November, ZACH Academy* and PPC (Pre-Professional Company**) senior Eric Judge sat down with some of his classmates in the “PPC Room” to capture their thoughts on their journey to becoming professional performers. Who better to tell you about this challenging process, and the preparation and determination required to get into a college theatre BFA program than our students themselves!

Now, they are on the brink of taking the next step in pursuit of their dreams. Though Unifieds reduces travel requirements by bringing over two dozen schools to one location, the cost of accommodations and travel to Chicago remains a significant barrier for some.
