2024-2025 ZACH Performing Arts Academy

ZACH Performing Arts Academy is a well-rounded school year training program that offers a flexible academic model for students to compete at an exceptional artistic and academic level that can exceed national standards of excellence. In partnership with accredited academic programs students work towards their high school diplomas while participating in performing arts classes on ZACH Theatre’s campus. This dual enrollment model creates an affordable private education that allows more time for training, professional opportunities, and travel.

ABOUT ZACH PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY

ACADEMICS:

For the academic curriculum, students are independently enrolled in an accredited school system like iUniversity Prep and Texas Connections Academy. ZACH Performing Arts Academy provides an on-campus learning environment with an Academic Supervisor in the classroom 9am-4pm on Monday-Thursday. The Academic Supervisor oversees classroom spaces and helps students navigate self-directed learning by cultivating time management and prioritization skills. Our outdoor space functions as an enjoyable alternative workspace to the classroom, and students can access ZACH’s various studios for private academic and performing arts lessons. Students receive multiple breaks throughout the day and may go off-campus for lunch.

PERFORMING ARTS:

Performing Arts classes are offered Monday- Friday, in which classes of 3-15 students are taught by skilled teaching artists and working professionals in the field.  New students may start with 5 core classes. When students are not taking performing arts classes, they are in the classroom working on academics from 9:00 am. – 4:00 pm.

NEXT STEPS

  1. Set up an information session with a staff member by submitting an inquiry here.
  2. After an information session, you can submit an application and set up a time for an audition by filling out the ZACH Academy Audition Form. A staff member will contact you to set up an audition appointment time.
  3. Complete an in-person audition, and wait to hear back about admission results.
