The Rock-n-Soul Musical

Created and Directed by Dave Steakley

November 28, 2008 - January 2, 2009
ZACH's Kleberg Stage
(Corner of Riverside & S. Lamar)

Rockin’ Christmas Party reigns as one of Austin’s longest-running traditions. Bigger, brighter and merrier than ever, our award-winning cast sure knows how to put the Christmas spirit in your heart–and your booty!–as they shake, rattle and roll down Santa Claus Lane. It’s great fun for the whole family, but get your tickets early because seats go fast for this wildly popular holiday shindig. For all ages.

Starring: Judy Arnold, Rebecca Schoolar, Andra Mitrovich, Quincy Kuykendall, Amani Dorn, Noellia Hernandez with Dallas guest artist Cedric Neal who played Sportin' Life in ZACH's production of Porgy and Bess! Cedric Neal

Rockin’ Christmas Party was inspired by a concert I saw at NYC’s Bottom Line nightclub, that starred Sonny Bono, Darlene Love and Ronnie Spector of the Ronettes in a live recreation of the 60’s Phil Spector “girl group”holiday album. Our musical has changed a lot over the years, but the goal always remains the same: to throw Austin the best holiday party they will ever attend!
