Come Out and Celebrate

For our 85th season, ZACH Theatre introduces a new special series specifically for families with same-sex parents. Following a similar model of our mainstage Pride Night events, we want to continue our dedication of offering a welcoming space for everyone. After each of the following shows, families will be able to stay afterwards for a discussion to meet the cast of the production and then enjoy a complimentary afternoon snack.

For the 2017-18 Season, Pride Family post-show events are scheduled for the following dates:

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe | Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 2 p.m.
Whisenhunt Stage
Based on the Story by C.S. Lewis • Adapted by le Clanche du Rand • Directed by Nat Miller
Agerecommendation: Five and up. Run time: One hour and 20 minutes including one intermission.

 

Holiday Heroes | Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11 a.m.
Topfer Theatre
Written by Allen Robertson, Shaun Branigan, and Jerome Schoolar • Directed by Allen Robertson
Age recommendation: Three and up. Run time: 55 minutes

 

Las Aventuras de Enoughie | Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 2 p.m.
(The Adventures of Enoughie: A Story of Kindness)
Mexican American Cultural Center
Based on the character of Enoughie from the Kindness Campaign • Scripted by Caroline Reck with the cast Enoughie is different from the other kids at school.
Presented in collaboration with ZACH Theatre, Teatro Vivo, Glass Half Full Theatre, and The Kindness Campaign.
Age recommendation: Three and up. Run time: One hour and twenty minutes including one intermission.

 

Goodnight Moon | Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2 p.m.
