The New Topfer Theatre

The new Topfer Theatre at ZACH will draw from the diverse, distinctive and energetic spirit of the Austin community to create an artistic home that ignites the imagination, lifts the spirit and engages our community.

More than doubling its current capacity while retaining the intimate experience fans have come to expect, ZACH will expand its stage, seating and services to provide Austin and Central Texas with the regional theatre Austin and its artists deserve.

Following a successful City of Austin bond election that raised $10 million, plus a direct-appeal campaign that yielded over $10 million from major donors, ZACH Theatre’s unique groundbreaking in early February captivated and enlightened several hundred guests.

We need just $1.5 million more to complete the new Topfer Topfer Theatre and your support can help complete this journey. Together, we can play our featured roles to take Austin further.
